President Joe Biden's law against former President Donald Trump “has absolutely backfired on Democrats,” Trump 2024 national campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said during an appearance in Breitbart News Saturday.
Breitbart News Saturday Breitbart News host and Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle pointed to a series of recent polls showing Trump is actually up in numbers after the controversial Manhattan jury guilty verdict.
“Joe Biden's botched trial absolutely backfired on the Democrats. I don't know when they will stop underestimating Donald Trump, but nothing will stop him or stop him from exposing the truth about the corruption in the Democratic Party and the weaponization of our justice system ” Leavitt began, explaining that the vast majority of Americans saw the trial, saw it as a form of election interference.
“This was their whole strategy to confine President Trump in a courtroom for hours a day, four days a week. And while it was happening, he was raising more money than they were. In April, President Trump raise more than Joe Biden and the Democrats for the first time in this race. After the embarrassing verdict was released, President Trump raised $53 million in 24 hours, and the most remarkable part of this was that on the 30 one hundred of those donors were new donors to our campaign, to any political campaign,” he said, describing them as Americans who came out of the woodwork “because people are fed up.”

“Americans believe in fairness and justice, and what we saw happen with President Trump in the courtroom is anything but,” he said, adding that Trump's legal team continues charging and fighting the “witch hunt in Fulton County, Georgia; in Washington, DC; in New York.”
“The truth is being exposed about all these cases. President Trump is being vindicated, and the ultimate vindication will come on November 5th when he wins this election, because Americans see through this BS that Joe Biden and Merrick Garland and Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg and Letitia James and Fani Willis have done to our justice system,” he predicted.
