Like a psychotic Wonder Woman deflecting deadly bullets with her “submission bracelets,” the liberal media is frantically trying to defend itself against Rep. James Comer's onslaught of evidence against President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
Lacking a “Lasso of Truth,” from the Associated Press Brian Slodysko pulled out the “WhatAboutism Cluster Card” and threw it at Comer's head, stating, “The Republican leading the Hunter Biden investigation has his own shell company and complicated friends.”
“Rep. James Comer, a billionaire farmer, boasts of being one of the largest landowners near his Kentucky hometown, and has meticulously documented nearly all of his holdings in congressional financial disclosure documents: approximately 1,600 acres (645 hectares) in total,” reports Slodysko. . “But there are 6 acres (2.4 hectares) he bought in 2015 and co-owns with a longtime campaign contributor that he has treated differently, transferring his ownership to Farm Team Properties, a fictitious which he co-owns with his wife”.
The “Cluster” that Slodysko throws is certainly spectacular.
“Interviews and records reviewed by The Associated Press provide new insights into the financial settlement, which risks undermining some of Comer's central arguments in his impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden,” he writes .
Slodysko continues:
For months, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee and his Republican colleagues have been bashing Biden, a Democrat, over how his family members traded on his famous name for trade deals.
In particular, Comer has attacked some members of the Biden family, including the president's son Hunter, for their use of shell companies that appear designed to hide millions of dollars in profits they received from shady middlemen and foreign interests.
Unable to dispute the allegations against the Biden family, Slodysko argues that Comer's farm is similar to the holdings of the Chinese Communist Party and Ukrainian oligarchs:
The AP found that Farm Team Properties operates in a similarly opaque manner to companies used by the Bidens, masking its stake in land it co-owns with the donor from being disclosed on its financial disclosure forms. Those records describe Farm Team Properties as his wife's “land management and real estate speculation” company without providing further details.
It's not clear why Comer decided to put those six acres into a shell company or what other assets Farm Team Properties may have. In his most recent financial disclosure forms, Comer lists his net worth at $1 million, a substantial sum but a fraction of his total wealth.
Not surprisingly, pro Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) brought up Slodysko's story.
“well well well We should have known this is what's really going on,” he wrote to X. “After making so many false claims against President Biden, James Comer is the one with the shady finances.”
well well well We should have known that this is what is really going on. After making so many false claims against President Biden, James Comer is the one with the shady finances. @AP break up their shell companies. https://t.co/XrnhtY00zA

How BizPac Review Swalwell is facing a possible ethics complaint after he allegedly “aided and abetted” a crime on behalf of Hunter Biden by reserving the Capitol seat the first son used to defy a congressional subpoena.
The Mediaite liberal left ran with the story.

And Biden supporters echo the narrative.

Even President Biden's official campaign account was influenced.
