Biden faces backlash over denial of ties to Hunter's business offers

A former business associate of Hunter Biden is challenging President Biden's recent denial of any involvement with his son and brother's foreign business partners. This pushback follows President Biden's blunt dismissal of the interactions as “lies” during a news conference, despite conflicting evidence.

Fox News Digital reports that Hunter's former business partner Eric Schwerin, a key figure in facilitating Hunter's Chinese trade deals, had frequented the Obama White House and Biden's residence numerous times between 2009 and 2016 .Schwerin also managed the elder Biden's finances, raising questions about the extent of his interactions.

Additional evidence contradicts Biden's claim of no involvement. It includes a 2016 email from Hunter to Mexican business magnate Miguel Magnani, mentioning how Magnani introduced his father to the White House. White House visitor records and photos corroborate this, showing Magnani and his father visiting the West Wing and receiving a visit from Biden and Hunter.

In 2013, Hunter accompanied Biden on a trip to Asia, introducing him to Chinese business partner Jonathan Li. Devon Archer, another of Hunter's former business partners, revealed that Biden also had coffee with Li during that visit. Soon after, Hunter entered into a joint venture with BHR Partners, backed by the Bank of China.

Additionally, evidence suggests Biden was present at dinners with Hunter's business associates, including Burisma's Ukrainian board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi and Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, despite denials from the Biden campaign.

Despite Biden's insistence on not getting involved or discussing Hunter's business dealings, mounting evidence suggests otherwise. This controversy raises questions about the president's knowledge and possible influence on his son's foreign business activities, contrasting his previous statements.
