You know what would make Americans feel a lot better about President Biden's penchant for forgetting where he is or what he's saying?
Fewer ties
Without these constrictive annoyances, and with a few more “subtle changes,” voters will surely see that the octogenarian is not too old to lead a nation when the world is on fire.
As “a buttoned-up president who often appears behind a lectern in a suit and tie,” Biden is now “listening to pleas from top advisers to return to his original form, according to several people familiar with the conversations.” NBC news reported on Friday.
According to the outlet, this “original form” is “an affable man more comfortable in a Dairy Queen than in the situation room.”
Because, obviouslywhat all worried Americans want when Iran threatens World War III is a leader who can relax at a Dairy Queen.
According to NBC News:
Biden, these people said, is taking advice from confidants who have suggested he try a more casual approach in public to try to ease one of the biggest concerns among voters about his 2024 candidacy: his age.
That means more casual comments, unannounced stops at diners and appearances on social media posts and podcasts, as well as fewer Rose Garden ties and ceremonies. The series of subtle changes, which aides say have been suggested to him in multiple conversations over the past few months, are intended to indicate that Biden is younger than his 81 years might suggest.
Pennsylvania, the outlet said, would mark the debut of a younger, leaner Joe.
“One of the changes will be on display Friday when Biden travels to Pennsylvania. He plans to abandon his usual format of delivering a prepared speech to a gathered audience and instead make a series of stops at smaller venues, according to the White House.” NBC reported. “The format, aides say, allows Biden to engage more organically and directly with voters.”
Well, Friday came, and since the noticeably tieless president told a cafeteria worker, “I work for the government in the Senate,” it's unclear how that strategy will help his image.

The need for Biden to be guided from place to place and told where to stand did not go unnoticed.
BREAKING – embarrassing! Joe, you're there! Biden is visiting several small businesses in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area “to show how America's communities are giving back thanks to Bidenomics.” I WILL SEE pic.twitter.com/f7VlBAS8e8

Nor the short steps of the “smallest plane” he took to get to Pennsylvania or the fact that he did not receive any questions from the press when he arrived.

And when he shuffled through the possibilities of organic interactions, President Biden was called a “loser,” suggesting that ties may not be the problem.

Well done, regular citizen

Biden aides suggested to NBC News that “social distancing” during the Covid pandemic, heightened security and “Biden's own view of the presidency” is to blame for his image as old, grumpy and confused
“Although he took a casual public approach as a senator, vice president and even a presidential candidate, Biden's penchant since entering the White House is always to appear 'presidential,' aides say,” he reported the medium “He comes to the office with an old-fashioned reverence that, according to his aides, has led him to adopt a much more traditional and formal style for events both inside and outside the White House.”

Before the trip to Pennsylvania, Scott Mulhauser, Biden's former deputy chief of staff and vice chairman of his 2012 campaign, was optimistic.
“The Biden campaign is the best Biden,” Mulhauser said. “Moments like these, in particular, are a great reminder of how genuine he is, how much he enjoys interacting with people on the trail and discussing the issues that matter, and how great it is for him and for the campaign.”
For at least one user on X, these “moments” sound a lot like “elder abuse.”
“This seriously looks like elder abuse by those in charge. The man doesn't even remember he's POTUS,” the user said. “This isn't the first time either. Where [is] Adult Protective Services?”
