Battleground state pollster predicts how many will turn out for Harris this November

A Pennsylvania voter predicted during an interview with CNN on Thursday that male voters will not go to the polls for new presidential candidate Kamala Harris come November.

Four Pennsylvania senior voters appeared on “Anderson Cooper 360” in a panel discussion to discuss their reaction to Harris winning the delegates needed to become the party's nominee. During the debate, CNN's John King questioned voters about their optimism that Harris can win the battleground state.

While three of the four women said they believed Harris could have a positive outcome, one voter rejected the idea.

“There's a shake of the head, tell me why,” King said.

“No. I don't think many men are going to vote for Harris. I just don't. Whether you're a Democrat, a Republican, whatever. I just don't think most men are ready for a woman president,” the voter replied.

Early polls between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump showed several battleground states going strong. Inside a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll released by May, Trump had slightly increased his margin from one to two points in Pennsylvania, making it a key state for the 2024 race.

While Biden dropped his re-election bid in a letter on Sunday published on X (formerly known as Twitter) and endorsed Harris, a wave of Democratic Party support flooded the vice president. With the support of Democratic lawmakers, political figures and Harris donors make sure more than 3,000 delegates on Tuesday to confirm her title as the presumptive nominee ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August.

However, amid the support, former President Barack Obama notably refused to endorse the Vice President as he wrote in a lengthy statement in which he said he was confident that the Democratic leadership would “create a process from which an outstanding candidate emerges” at the party convention.
