A 23-year-old man, Kyle Eugene Berry, of Xenia, Ohio, was indicted this week by a Greene County grand jury on two counts of felonious assault, according to reports. WDTNTV.
The charge follows an incident in which Berry was shot and wounded by Xenia police officers last month.
Police also released video footage showing Berry firing a gun at an apartment complex, along with dash cam and body camera footage capturing officers' response.

Officers reportedly ordered Berry to drop the gun before the officer-involved shooting occurred.
The incident took place on June 30 at an apartment complex in the 100 block of South Orange Street in Xenia.
Police responded to reports of a man firing a gun at the complex, with additional reports of a man pointing a gun at the apartment complex manager.
Two officers at the scene observed Berry pointing a gun at them, prompting them to shoot. The agents, who have not been identified, have been placed on administrative leave.
A total of six Xenia police officers and several Greene County Sheriff's deputies participated in the response.

Berry is currently being held in the Greene County Jail on $500,000 bond and will soon face the charges.
