Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) took a swipe at an unnamed senior House Democratic figure who allegedly suggested that many within the party have accepted the possibility of Donald Trump getting another term.
In direct response to the situation, Ocasio-Cortez urged the anonymous Democrat to resign and give way to “real leadership that refuses to resign to fascism.” He noted: “This type of leadership is functionally useless to the American people. Retire.”
