Floyd's chaos “summer of love” and various and various anti-Trump demonstrations.
“We've tried everything else. We shouted, we marched, we sang, we prayed. We've written letters and visited offices,” IfNotNow spokeswoman Noa Kattler-Kupetz said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times. “Yet politicians like President Biden continue to stonewall, and Israel continues to massacre thousands of innocent people in Gaza. enough We can't wait another day.”

While these disruptive demonstrations make great performative theater and grab headlines, activists aren't exactly winning the hearts and minds of people who might otherwise be swayed into sympathy for the cause.
“A pro-Hamas mob has shut down the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles and angry drivers are taking matters into their own hands,” conservative commentator Charlie Kirk wrote on X, sharing a video of the angry reaction to the protest . “Not only is this 'protest' illegal and dangerous, it's also stupid. They just blocked Angelenos' main artery through downtown, the holy cow of transportation. If you want LA Democrats don't support your cause, that's what you do. Way to go, idiots.”

This “protest” is not only illegal and dangerous, but also stupid. They just blocked the main artery of Angelenos that runs through the center of the city, the holy cow of transportation… https://t.co/mQ60KDskZt

X users reacted to the group's disdain for Los Angelinos.
Nothing wins the hearts and minds of Angelenos like an hour-long traffic jam! Keep up the good work, you are doing great!

We want to protest fake genocide, so we blocked the freeway to Children's Hospital Los Angeles

Closing a freeway with a protest in Los Angeles will not stop the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
All people do is piss off other motorists trying to get through the day.

Good thing they were arrested!
What gives them the right to directly block free movement?— ALL IN CRYPTO (@aesagt) December 13, 2023
This is a great way to build solidarity AGAINST whatever your cause is.
