A male friend from Stevens Point messaged Aimee Betro, 44, on Facebook (now deleted), asking, “Lol what are you doing?” and sent him an article about his involvement in a 2019 murder-for-hire plot. A post by X allegedly shows photos of both the contractors (in a West Midlands Police photo) and the killer herself:

A hometown friend said several friends had been contacting her about the incident. “I spoke to her best friend today and this person said she talks to Aimee every day,” she said. “He uses his phone every day, he's taking pictures out of his apartment window, he's chatting with people all the time.” He added: “If the police really wanted to catch her, they would have her by now.
