America Prayer Vigil – 2/23/23 [prayer]

Today, millions of Americans gathered in prayer to honor the legacy of our great nation and to celebrate the many blessings of freedom and liberty we enjoy. On February 23, 2021, the National Day of Prayer, citizens from all walks of life joined together in prayer to thank God for the many blessings bestowed upon our nation.

The National Day of Prayer was established in 1952 by President Dwight Eisenhower, and it has been observed every year since. This day of prayer has been an important part of our national heritage, and it has been an opportunity for Americans to come together in prayer and to recognize the importance of faith in our lives.

Under the Trump administration, the National Day of Prayer was celebrated with great enthusiasm and vigor. President Trump issued a proclamation that recognized the importance of prayer and encouraged Americans to join together in prayer for the nation. He also hosted a special White House event to mark the occasion.
