ADL raises funds from Elon Musk’s alleged “anti-Semitism” |

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is sending letters to Jewish leaders asking for donations, alleging that X, formerly known as Twitter, is the source of rising anti-Semitism at the hands of Elon Musk, whom the organization referred to as an “unrepentant fanatic”. “

This after Musk announced that he was considering filing a defamation lawsuit against the ADL claiming that the organization has been trying to destroy his platform by making false claims that both he and X are “anti-Semitic.” The ADL has urged advertisers to pull their X ads because of those claims, prompting Musk’s response.

The letter, which was sent by ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, told Jewish leaders that Musk is responsible for “amplifying the voices of extremism” and that those who oppose his organization far left are “white supremacists, Christian nationalists and conspiracy theorists”.

“I stand by to share with you several alarming updates and to ask you to take action against those who spread anti-Jewish hatred. We will not falter. We will not be silenced. I went on MSNBC this morning to talk about how deeply disturbing it is that Elon Musk spent the weekend engaging in a highly toxic and anti-Semitic campaign on his platform, X/Twitter, a campaign started by an unrepentant bigot that was then heavily promoted by white supremacists, Christian nationalists, conspiracy theorists and others.” Greenblatt wrote.
