Adam Kinzinger's lecture on what “real men” are has the internet on edge

-

The record-breaking defense saw citizen Adam Kinzinger try to pontificate about sexism after being challenged about how “real men” should vote.

The self-styled Republican, former congressman and current corporate media commentator prepared for a social media lunge on Tuesday with a post that left users with the impression they could practically feel the tears hitting their keyboards.

While Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign tried to shore up support, identity politics came to the fore, leading many to chastise the party that can't even define what a woman is for its rallies based on gender and race.

Leaning into her Trump derangement syndrome, Kinzinger attacked X, writing: “There's a MAGA push to say 'real men' can't vote for Kamala. Their understanding of masculinity is so juvenile . Real men have compassion. Real men protect the vulnerable, real men would defend tooth and nail for Ukraine to survive.”

“Soft and weak men need someone to tell them who to vote for. There is a crisis of masculinity, but especially on the right,” he added.

The former Illinois congressman, who has been reassigned to a primary battle he didn't want to take on, lamented the “crisis of masculinity” on his blog where he spent about half his time trying to take down former President Donald. Trump while supporting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Neither the post nor the blog seemed to land the way Kinzinger hoped, as one user called out the latter: “Hahaha, I love how this is just a weird love letter to Zelensky about how he's the most “sexist of the world”.

Meanwhile, others were quick to remind the misty-eyed former lawmaker how his enduring passion for the cause of the Ukrainian people had blinded him to propaganda like the debunked “Ghost of Kyiv” story.

Most telling of his comment was that “Soft, weak men need somebody to tell them who to vote for,” as Trump faced a legitimate challenge in the Republican primary, while President Joe Biden's party he protected him throughout the process only to crown Harris as the candidate without a single vote in the hours after the incumbent withdrew.

A litany of other reasons to counter Kinzinger's opinion was provided by one user who wrote: “Uh no, the right doesn't have soy boys, gender dysphoria, men on the right make up their own minds, no they are part of Antifa, no. They don't need safe spaces or [are] scared of our flag, don't protest for or with our enemies, just to mention a few things. Nice try though. That's just the short list.”

Actor Kevin Sorbo, topping the humiliation sundae with a cherry, reiterated the main point with a direct dig at Kinzinger as he wrote: “Real men won't vote for Kamala. Using the idea that masculinity is surrender to the government as an argument is childish and stupid at best. You are no man.”
