“Duks of Hazzard” host John Schneider reportedly told President Joe Biden that he believes he and his son, Hunter, should be publicly executed for treason.
Schneider, an outspoken conservative, was allegedly responding to a post by the president on X on Wednesday.
“Trump poses many threats to our country: the right to choose, civil rights, voting rights and America's standing in the world,” Biden wrote. “But the biggest threat it represents is to our democracy. If we lose it, we lose everything.”

In a now-deleted post, Schneider wrote: “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hanged. Your son too. Your response is…. Sincerely, John Schneider.

Others mocked the celebrity, who had just revealed himself to be the Donut from “The Masked Singer,” for his poor grammar.
“Mr. Schneider, you sound like an idiot and should be publicly ridiculed,” one user said. “[Porn star] John Holmes is hanged. A rebel would be hanged.”
“Calling for the public hanging of the president and his son is a cry for help,” said the user. “Please take one.”

Some expressed dislike for Schneider, but pointed out that he “technically” didn't actually make any threats.
I hate to say it, but technically this isn't a threat. He does not say that he will hang the president. Nor is he asking anyone else to hang the president.
