Accusations are Trump’s rocket fuel

With each new indictment of President Trump, the left’s success in hijacking American institutions becomes increasingly clear. The weaponization of our most feared government agencies by the left is complete and utter. The rule of law, the very foundation of our justice system, has effectively collapsed. Democrats They deeply fear Trump’s re-election and yet in his increasingly intense use of the Department of Justice to prevent him from office, they are only strengthening Trump and making it more and more likely that he will be the 47th president.

Trump’s enemies are so consumed with hatred for him that they cannot think or act strategically. They believe they are being strategic by early orchestrating fragile if dangerous indictments in New York, Florida, Washington DC and Georgia. They believe they are burying him under a firestorm of charges, draining his resources and distracting him from an effective re-election campaign. And they may be right that their despicable law will hamper it until November 2024 and beyond.

But they’re missing the central point about Trump and his powerful and unprecedented appeal to voters: As an America First outsider, he established an organic emotional bond with the people, who see him, rightly, as their champion, a man who sacrificed everything. to improve their lives and restore the America they love to greatness.

This is an incredibly powerful draw, and one that cannot be overcome by conventional political means. Hence the increasingly desperate and relentless attempts by the ruling class to destroy it, from the Russian collusion hoax to two fake impeachments to fomenting violence by radical groups in an election year and more month.

If Democrats really wanted to undermine Trump, they would ignore him. But they are incapable of that, so they go ahead with all kinds of attacks, the country be damned.

The kitchen sink has been thrown at him and, to his horror, nothing has sunk into him yet, which brings us to the current accusations. These legal torpedoes are the Democrats’ crisis plan for the 2024 election.

Given Trump’s extraordinary first-term record of delivering a booming economy, a secure border, law and order, a restored military, and an end to US involvement in foreign wars, Democrats know they can’t stop him at the polls. So they target him with selective prosecutions in the hope that he will be a dramatically weakened GOP nominee, then convicted, imprisoned, and unable to serve as president ever again.

This latest allegation about Trump’s conduct after the 2020 election and the pre-riots at the Capitol on January 6 is alarmingly based on the claim that he knowingly made false claims about the results of the election. According to this criterion, special adviser jack smith should accuse Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Stacey Abrams, and many other Democrats who opposed the certification of their presidential and other elections and rejected the results. (Any day, I’m sure.)

Apparently the government is criminalizing political speech now, but only in one direction. And they are arresting political opponents, but only on one side.

Trump had every right to raise legitimate questions about voter fraud in a controversial election that hinged on just 44,000 votes in three states. Their vocal concerns were about free speech protected by the First Amendment, as were statements by Democrats who participated in election denial in 2000, 2004 and 2016.

And yet, according to Smith and Biden’s Justice Department, Trump has no right to his constitutionally protected speech, or even the right to be wrong.

It’s such a blatant violation of Trump’s First Amendment protections that it appears to be as much a messaging event as a legal event, to warn President Biden’s political opponents of the high cost of opposing him and his radical agenda .

Of course, their ultimate goals go far beyond Trump. It’s the America First movement. It is ordinary, hard-working Americans who have been brought down by his globalist policies and self-serving contempt. It is the Constitution, the rule of law and the social contract that have maintained our freedoms. Those of us who put America first oppose their relentless drive to overthrow everything and grant themselves total power and control.

As Trump often says, they are coming for us; he’s just in the way.

Democrats believe Trump is the easiest candidate to beat next year and hope his endless attacks will carry him to the Republican nomination. But they should be careful what they wish for. Like Popeye’s spinach, each new accusation has strengthened him; Recent polls show him well ahead of his GOP rivals and tied or slightly ahead of Biden.

His enemies will eventually reap what they have sown. But in the meantime, we must work to ensure that America survives its destructive assault. One of the most important ways to do this is to re-elect his nemesis: the brash, blue-collar billionaire. donald trump– to the Presidency.
