It took a week, but the Vatican has finally responded to the blasphemous Paris Summer Olympics opening ceremony that mocked “The Last Supper” in a grotesque parody that sparked international outrage.
In an opening full of perversion and what many described as “satanic” overtones, the organizers thought it would be a good idea to reimagine the famous scene of the lord and savior and his apostles at a final supper before his crucifixion with dragging queens and a fat lesbian in the role of Jesus Christ.
Countries should pull their ambassadors out of France because of this. I'm 100% serious. pic.twitter.com/Mpe10kTn6N

As a firestorm raged for a week over the globally televised insult to Christians and other decent human beings, the world's highest Catholic authority remained silent, finally issuing a tepid statement on Saturday that addressed the disgusting and sacrilegious political message.
The Holy See joins “the voices that have been raised in recent days to deplore the offense caused to many Christians and believers of other religions” by some scenes of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.

“The Holy See was saddened by certain scenes during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris and can only join the voices that have been raised in recent days to deplore the offense caused to many Christians and believers of 'other religions,' the Vatican said.
“At a prestigious event where the whole world comes together to share common values, there should be no allusions that ridicule the religious convictions of many people,” the brief statement read.
In the opinion of some X users, the Vatican's comments came a day late, a dollar short and not as strong as such a vile affront to the Christian religion deserved.
Here is a better translation of the Vatican statement on the blasphemous Olympic opening ceremonies:
“We regret that this has to be such a big deal that we have to make this statement against our allies in the LGBTQ+ community. But we will make it toast enough to… pic.twitter.com/uPBLu0Abun

It was lukewarm and too late.

This is not a condemnation.
It's a soft moan.

If the Vatican was to be given permission to complain, or there were so many complaints from Catholics, the public relations department was pressured to say something.

don't bother The offense was caused to Jesus Christ. Funny, he didn't mention it.
— Victomatic (@SunshineBandit) August 4, 2024
But the Marxist Pope himself will not condemn it.

@Pontifex I should quit. One of the worst popes in history. A pathetic leader and a total disgrace.

Pathetic: too little, too late. Satan has good control.

“The opening ceremony,” the French Episcopal Conference said in a statement last weekend, beating the Vatican by a week. “gave the world the last wonderful moments of beauty, joy, rich emotions, and universal acclaim,” but “included scenes of mockery and mockery of Christianity, which we deeply deplore.”
As of Sunday morning, Pope Francis has yet to personally address the anti-Christian Olympic skit.
