A former MMA fighter body slams a man who attacks him with a knife in Miami

A former MMA fighter used his grappling skills to open a can of ass on a knife-wielding assailant in self-defense… and the dramatic scene was caught on video.

Javier Baez returned to her Miami apartment complex after a Halloween night out… and saw him Omar Marrero yelling and brandishing a knife in the parking lot, according to WPLG News.

After Báez parked his car, Marrero walked over and began beating on the window with the knife.

Marrero then opened the driver’s side door and tried to cut off Baez, who got out to defuse the growing tension.

But it didn’t work… Marrero continued swinging the knife at Báez and retrieved a second blade from his nearby vehicle.

Undeterred, Baez returned to his days as a mixed martial artist and made quick work of Marrero.

Watch the video… Holding one of the knives, Marrero charges at Báez, who lifts him up and body slams him to the ground. Báez then disarms Marrero and puts him in a choke hold.

Baez later told a WPLG reporter, “Once I started putting the choke on, he let it go because nobody cares about anything but breathing when he’s out of breath.”

Baez added, “I was able to hold him down with my knee and call the police, and he woke up, the cops came, and it was good, easy to do!”
