A Florida man who fired a shotgun at a group is shot in the face [VIDEO]

In Jacksonville, Florida, a man who reportedly shot a group of three people early Sunday morning ended up getting shot, as he was shot in the face and is currently recovering.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at 10000 Atlantic Blvd at approximately 3 am. The man, in his 40s, received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the face and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the JSO, the individual who suffered the gunshot wound is believed to be the suspect. An altercation ensued between the suspect and a trio of individuals, leading to the suspect firing a shotgun at the group.

In response, a member of the group allegedly shot the suspect, an action described by the agency as “in an act of self-defense.” The victims have cooperated with law enforcement, JSO noted.
