A female hostage freed by Hamas gets a DEFAIMENT tattoo commemorating the victims of a savage attack

A young woman recently freed after being held for weeks by Hamas shared a permanent message of defiance against the terrorists tattooed on her arm.

Two months removed from the horrors of October 7, when people in Israel were massacred by the hundreds by radical Islamists, a survivor of the Nova Tribe festival, who had been kidnapped where others had been beaten to death, he spoke out in a great way against the brutality of his captors.

With an arm still bandaged from wounds suffered by Hamas, 21-year-old Israeli-French tattoo artist Mia Schem displayed her latest ink commemorating the tragedy with a pledge to oppose the terrorists' savagery.

“We'll dance again… 7.10.23,” it read while the Instagram post shared by the young woman said: “I'll never forget. The pain and the fear, the hard sights, the friends who won't come back and the ones we have to recover. But we still have to win…”

Schem had only recently been returned to his family on November 30 before Hamas broke a negotiated ceasefire orchestrated for the release of the hostages, clearly unable to curb its bloodlust.

Hers was one of the many faces that became synonymous with the more than 200 men, women and children held for weeks when, days after the jihadist attack, a video of Schem receiving medical attention was uploaded to Telegram.

A Jerusalem Post translation of the video quoted her as saying: “Currently, I am in Gaza. I returned early Saturday morning from Sderot; I was at a party. I was seriously injured in my hand. I had an operation on my hand at the hospital [in Gaza] for 3 hours. They are taking care of me, giving me an audience, everything is fine. I'm just asking my parents, my siblings to take me home as soon as possible. Get me out of here as soon as possible. Please.”

Liav Forer, the artist behind the new tattoo, posted a message on Instagram that roughly translates to: “Mia after prayers and after so much fear of not seeing you… I admire you! And the honor to tattoo you again, and it's not a dream… I got my victory that you come back, a friend for life and a friend for work… After a lot of crying and a lot of pain, there are tears of joy. The most important thing is that we will never stop dancing.”

Schem wasn't the only one to get a tattoo to mark the terrorist attack carried out by Hamas, as Forer shared a video with other work done by the artist who said he “did something different from my heart…”

In addition to her defiant message against Hamas, the young woman shared her hope for those still in captivity as she celebrated the opportunity to celebrate Hanukkah with her family.

“Thank you for the privilege of celebrating Hanukkah at home with family,” she wrote. “I'm hoping that the little light will drive away the great darkness. Hoping that all the abductees will come home.”
