In a recent segment on CNN, host Jim Acosta and commentator Scott Jennings engaged in a discussion with Democratic strategist Maria Cardona about Hispanic Americans' views on mass deportation. Cardona questioned the accuracy of the survey results and expressed concern about the data. Despite his reservations, Acosta confirmed the 53%-47% split in favor of deporting undocumented immigrants, as shown in an on-screen chart.
While the discussion focused on polling data, Jennings stood firm in his assertion that mass deportations have substantial support among the American public and Hispanic voters. Cardona promised to provide Jennings with what he considered to be the most reliable sounding information.
