A Jewish high school teacher in Queens was terrorized by a mob of left-wing students who reacted with outrage after she attended a pro-Israel rally last weekend, a terrifying incident that left her deeply shaken.
The target of ‘radicalised’ children was forced to hide for more than two hours in a locked office as hundreds of youngsters occupied the corridors of Hillcrest High School outraged by his post in support of Jewish democracy on his Facebook page.
Students chanted slogans and waved Palestinian flags in what was described as a pre-planned protest to demand the teacher’s sacking with a video of the heartbreaking display of anti-Semitism posted on social media.

“The teacher was seen holding a sign of Israel, as if he was supporting him,” said an unnamed senior he said the New York Post of the teacher’s Facebook post showing a poster that said “I stand with Israel.”
“A bunch of kids decided to have a group talk, expose it, talk about it, and then talk about starting a riot,” the student said.
One student told the channel: “Everyone was shouting ‘Free Palestine!'”
“POV: Your school had 1 lockdown multiple fights and riots just because of a hoe supporting Zionism and the occupation,” read the caption of a video posted on TikTok that also featured the controversial slogan “From the river to sea, Palestine will be free.”, which has been widely interpreted as a call for the genocide of Israeli Jews.

The focus of the anti-Jewish hate mob commented on the ugliness at the school in a statement.
“I have been a teacher for 23 years in the New York City public school system, the last seven at Hillcrest High School. I have worked hard to support our entire student body and an advocate for our community, and I was shocked by the calls for violence against me that occurred online and outside my classroom last week,” he said. seconds in the New York Post.

About 25 NYPD officers were dispatched to Hillcrest High, according to Principal Scott Milczewski, and administrators went into a “soft lockdown” for the emergency situation. The teacher was escorted out of the building by the police.
“There are 2,500 students,” he said. “Adults will always be outnumbered. I think this is something we need to understand. And that’s why we ask you to talk to your children. We need your support with this.”
“If it was a student or multiple students who did or said something, whatever the trigger was, something happened. And I know from my many years at City Hall that the counterterrorism task force is not committed to unless they think it’s a potentially serious situation,” said Democratic Councilman James Gennaro of Queens.
“She went from a teacher just changing a picture on her social profile to this contagion of hate being unleashed in the hallways of Hillcrest High School,” he said. “It is a sad commentary on the stale hatred in the hearts of the students, for the Jews.”
“It is my hope that in the coming days we can find a way to have meaningful discussions about challenging topics with respect for each other’s diverse perspectives and shared humanity,” the targeted professor said in the statement. “Unless we can learn to see ourselves as people, we can never create a safe learning community.”
