Ghislaine Maxwell sued again, this time by an alleged victim

Ghislaine Maxwell has just been slapped with another lawsuit while behind bars.

The new lawsuit was filed on behalf of an alleged victim who came forward during Maxwell’s 2021 criminal trial and claimed she was abused by Maxwell and now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which caused her to need an abortion.

“Elizabeth Stein also read an impact statement at the heiress’ sentencing, sharing that she was a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and an intern at the now-defunct department store Henri Bendel in the 1990s, when Maxwell lured her into Epstein’s traffic. ring,” the report per the Daily Beast noted.

“Maxwell and Epstein, she said, began dealing with her high-powered friends, which led her to have an abortion,” the outlet added.

“I was assaulted, raped and trafficked countless times in New York and Florida over a three-year period,” Stein told the court at the time. “At one point I got pregnant (by whom I’m not sure) and aborted the baby.”

Now, days before New York’s Adult Survivor Law expires, Stein’s allegations have been repeated in a lawsuit filed Wednesday. Two executors of Epstein’s estate are named in the lawsuit along with Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.

According to the Daily Beast report:

The complaint details that in 1992, when Stein was a teenager attending FIT, she began working at Henri Bendel. About two years into the job, when she was 21, Maxwell allegedly approached her at the luxury department store for help.

When Maxwell was buying, he allegedly claimed his colleague was close friends with Les Wexner, whose limited empire Henri Bendel once owned. The complaint alleges that Maxwell later asked Stein to deliver her purchases to the St. Regis on Fifth Avenue, where the concierge directed her to the bar. There, according to the complaint, Maxwell and Epstein sat drinking.

Stein ended up joining Maxwell and Epstein in a hotel room to deliver the packages. The complaint claims that at one point, Maxwell and Epstein changed into monogrammed bathrobes and turned the conversation to Stein’s “personal and sex life.” As they continued to talk about Stein’s boyfriend and drinking, the complaint says, Maxwell and Epstein began kissing and touching each other.

The complaint says that Stein “doubted and feared that Epstein or Maxwell would harm her physically and professionally,” so she gave in to Maxwell’s urging to join the two in a “threesome.” When Stein resisted and then tried to leave, Epstein “handed her cash and said it was a ‘tip,'” the complaint said, leaving Stein feeling “confused, betrayed, humiliated and completely violated.”

“This was the beginning of a three-year nightmare for Plaintiff, during which Maxwell and Epstein stalked Plaintiff, sexually abused her, and trafficked her to their ‘friends’ for more sexual abuse.” , the complaint says.

After more encounters with the couple over the next few years, in which other cases of sexual assault were recounted, Stein finally accepted an invitation to Florida where another assault took place. When she returned home, she found she was pregnant.

Maxwell reportedly caused her to have an abortion, causing Stein to fall into a “deep depression” that at one point caused her to “crash her own car.”

The Netflix documentary “Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich” featured Stein’s story.

During Maxwell’s sentencing in 2022, Stein read a victim impact statement.

“Things happened so traumatic that to this day I can’t talk about them; I don’t even have the vocabulary to describe them,” he told the court. “In the most literal sense of the word, Epstein and Maxwell terrified me. They told me that if I told anyone, no one would believe me and that if they did, they would kill me and the people closest to me.”
