George Soros, his family members and other mega-donors helped New York Attorney General Letitia James to the position of great power she now holds.
James is now the infamous AG for filing a civil suit against former President Donald Trump because he had lied about the value of his assets. And so, not surprisingly, she is beloved by the world’s biggest Trump haters, including Soros.
“Financier George Soros has pushed at least $20,000 into James’ candidacy, including two donations of $10,000 in 2021 and 2022. The 93-year-old billionaire has poured millions of dollars into efforts to support and oppose Biden to Trump, and his open society foundations have funded a host of left-wing organizations that have worked in efforts against the former president,” according to Fox News.
Meanwhile, Soros’ son Jonathan gave James’ campaign at least $10,000 between 2018 and 2022, and Jonathan’s wife Jennifer Allan gave $4,000 in 2022.
Next up is LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, a billionaire who, in addition to “helping rehabilitate convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and visiting his infamous island,” is reportedly one of James’ top donors .
“Records show Hoffman gave $47,100 to his 2022 campaign. Hoffman has invested heavily in efforts to torpedo Trump. He has also been criticized for a past effort in an Alabama Senate race that the New York Times described as a “Russian-style social media hoax” campaign, notes Fox News.

Next up is Karla Jurvetson, a California doctor who has given James at least $67,300 since 2019 and who has also “spent significant amounts against Trump and supported Biden, positioning herself as a prominent donor in recent electoral cycles”.
“This unnamed donor may not be on the tip of anyone’s tongue here, but it sure will help Tish put her campaign money where her mouth is in a big way,” said one Democratic insider. New York. New York Post in 2021.
Gerard Kassar, chairman of the New York State Conservative Party, disagrees.
“We’ve always maintained that James was out of touch with the average New Yorker, and I would say that his biggest contributor is a West Coast psychiatrist certainly helps to do that,” he told the Post.
According to the Post,” Jurvetson began [her donor spree] supporting James in August 2019 with a modest contribution of $1,000, which increased to $2,600 the following month and then to $10,000 in December 2020.”
“His largest donation was on March 19, 2021, when Jurvetson contributed $49,700. He did so a little more than two weeks after James’ office opened an investigation into sexual harassment allegations against the Gov. Andrew Cuomo, an investigation that would lead to his resignation in August,” the Post notes.

“Other notable James collaborators include director Spike Lee, former Meta executive Sheryl Sandberg, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer,” according to Fox News.
The latest is New York City Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over James’ case against Trump. Although he has never given it to her, he has given it exclusively to Democrats.
“Judge Arthur Engoron … has contributed exclusively to Democrats for the past 25 years, most of them directly to his local Democratic Party committees. The New York campaign finance database shows that Engoron has contributed more than $5,000 to candidates and committees, including most recently in 2018 to the Manhattan Democrats. The Daily Wire reported exclusively last month.
Back to James’ lawsuit, he had been expressing his desire to sign up for him since he ran for office in 2018. A supporter then asked him on camera what he would say to people who weren’t interested. register to vote in the 2020 election.
“I say one name: Donald Trump. That should motivate you. Get down and vote,” James replies.
When asked by the supporter if he planned to sue Trump, he replied: “Oh, we’re definitely going to sue. We’re going to be a real pain in the ass. He’s going to know my name personally.”

But James’ blatant hostility toward the then-president was by no means new. In fact, he campaigned for New York Attorney General promising to unseat him.
“I’m running for attorney general because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president when our fundamental rights are at stake,” he said in a campaign announcement taped in September 2018.
