No, the impeachment inquiry into Biden is not being “turned off.”
That was the unmistakable message from newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, a Louisiana representative.
“We have an ongoing cover-up of major events as Joseph Biden sits in the Oval Office,” Johnson said. “We know that he looked directly into the camera as the president and lied repeatedly, I mean, multiple times, lied outright multiple times about his involvement and knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Now we all know that.”
The hard-left publication Raw Story had reported the alleged news that Republicans wanted to end the impeachment inquiry into Biden.
“James Comer doubts ‘will hold more hearings’ on impeachment: report,” the outlet claimed on October 27.
“The sinking ship is finally abandoned,” commented one commenter.
“In other words, it was a farce,” said another.
“Leave while you’re behind,” said another.
But that’s not what was happening, despite the leftist publication’s “report”.
“The new Speaker of the House wants to file impeachment charges based on baseless corruption allegations against President Joe Biden, but there’s just one problem: U.S. Rep. James Comer (R-KY) wants to end the hearings ,” sang Raw Story.
“I don’t know if I want to hold any more hearings, to be honest with you,” said Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
But the outlet added that he said he preferred depositions, which “you can do more with.”
Then the truth about the new president’s intentions came out.
“If, in fact, all the evidence leads to where we think it’s going to be, it’s very likely that these will be indictable crimes,” Johnson said. “I think the documents are proving all of that. The bank records don’t lie.”
That’s exactly what the subpoenaed bank records have shown so far: that Joe Biden’s bank records cannot account for a Delaware house payment of $2.75 million in cash or an alleged “loan” to his brother James Biden for $200,000.
There are also tax discrepancies discovered by investigators amounting to approximately $5 million. That’s about the cutoff for the Big Guy, according to the claims of a trusted FBI informant.
