It was an emotional moment for the former president and his supporters at a Cuban restaurant following Donald Trump’s indictment and his “not guilty” pleas to 37 federal charges.
The supporting crowd serenaded Mr. Trump with “Happy Birthday” as he turns 77 tomorrow. I will see:
CNN’s reaction to Trump supporters singing “Happy Birthday” is simply hilarious. It is consistent with a network that has been determined to destroy Donald Trump since day one of his political career.

Donald Trump is charged with a series of federal crimes for mishandling the most sensitive government documents we have and obstruction of justice, along with Walt Nauta, who is accused of intentionally creating lies to the grand jury, to the FBI. Anyway, look at this, and again, despite what might be going on in this restaurant, this case is not going to be settled legally in a coffee shop. It’s going to be settled in court. Basically, the facts and the right”.
“The people in the control room, I don’t need to see that anymore,” Tapper commented.
“Try to turn it into a show, a campaign ad,” Tapper added. “That’s enough. We’ve seen it. Let’s go back to it. The 37 charges that Donald Trump is facing right now. We don’t have to go into each one. Regardless of your views on Donald Trump and this case, there is no way CNN would have a similar reaction to any Democrat holding a birthday celebration, regardless of the circumstances. There is already much more damning evidence against Democratic political figures, like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, that compromise America’s national security, and CNN is just covering it up while fixating on the false charges against the 45th president.
The American people see through this farce and have seen enough.
So, happy birthday, Mr. President. And CNN can catch it.
