Teen High School Student on Life Support After Going Into Cardiac Arrest During Basketball Game

During the game, a teenage student-athlete went into cardiac arrest and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the student remains on life support and is in critical condition.

The student-athlete, who has not been identified, was a junior at Hillview High School. He was playing in the game when he suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. The school’s athletic trainer and medical staff immediately responded and began performing CPR until an ambulance arrived. The student was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he was placed on life support.
